Melancholy
Melancholy, melancholy, melancholy,
how stands this day?
Do I expect delightful pleasures
or hold fast for your way?
Melancholy,
found all around,
how do you creep unannounced
and stain ambitions life
and mine?
You come, you go,
tainting this,
prompting that,
master of nothing,
inspiration of some.
Welcome, friend,
for I own no enemies.
All you can do is done.
Humans are moody. So are Gnomes. The Knack is to recognize a mood and put it to good use.
