A different kind of parade to be sure. I took advantage of a few days of dry weather and spent Mardi Gras and a couple of days in the Ouachita mountains. When the leaves are down it's possible to really see those big rocks, especially the folds. The Cossatot river was clear, cold, and delightful. Ulterior motive for the camp-escapathon was to wrap up the final bits of a play in the works for several years - working title JB, after the central character. That was accomplished, along with some updates of the Krismere sequel, "The Deluxe Company." Laissez le bon temps roulez!
